Averse Risk, LLC is licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Investigator Examiners as a full-service Private Investigation Agency.
We have a documented history of assisting in complex claims, accident and trucking losses, worker’s compensation claims, and products liability matters, offering a “First Look” service beginning within minutes of a loss. We offer 24 hour response. We urge you to contact us as one of the first calls when an accident occurs. Our goal is to be onsite within minutes of a loss and to provide an immediate, proactive response to minimize exposure of an Insurer or Corporation of the SIR or high deductible, and keep costs to a minimum.
Even if your company does not yet have an account or business relationship with Averse Risk, we will accept new assignments immediately and set up account and billing details after the initial response. We realize that Insurers and Motor Carriers are often operating nationwide, and we would appreciate the opportunity to work with you in the Gulf South.
Averse Risk, LLC is based in Holden, LA, on I-12 and 30 minutes from the 10-12 Split in Baton Rouge. We are 50 minutes from downtown New Orleans. We are 20 minutes from I-55 in Hammond, LA. This central location, close to three interstates, makes us an excellent first responder for losses in South Louisiana.

History
Averse Risk, LLC is licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Investigator Examiners as a full-service Private Investigation Agency.
The Principal Investigator is Ike Hawkins. Ike has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and a Juris Doctorate degree from LSU. Ike has attended over six hundred Mediations over the last 25 years, participating as a corporate representative with Defense Counsel for the last seven years. working as a Corporate Vice-President, in-house investigator, and manager of a complex claims program at a large trucking/transportation and gaming company in South Louisiana. The principles expressed herein led to excellent claims results and stable or decreasing liability insurance premiums for seven consecutive years. The overall claims cost of insurance and claims paid were excellent and have rarely been duplicated in the Louisiana transportation industry.
